You Put me on the Edge

A poem for you Miss Sledge…..
I thought you knew well, some call me Mr legend,
Quite rich in finances, quite quick to lend,
Friends for brown bottles, why am letting this end,
You put me on a ledge but this is where it ends.
******
I gut ma’ eyes on you, In my mind you trend,
Sleepless nights for you, with thoughts that never end
Waiting some day, You’ll make my cheeks bend,
You put me on a ledge, but this is where it ends.
******
A woman on the lips forever on the hip,
Waiting on all tips, with lies that you will lower thy zip,
To toss and sip, I must even on my last drip,
You put me on a ledge but this is where it ends.

I used to be a chick but I changed my structure,
I was bought a chick, then got it fractured,
You roll with them sleek, Be careful that ain’t punctured,
You put me on a ledge but this is where it ends
******
Never mind Miss Sledge, I now got Samantha,
Your power is on the edge, probably wait for Santa,
Hello, why look over the hedge, just chilling with my fanta,
You placed me on the ledge, but today, I commission its end.
